2012. Plaster, Resin, Steel. (4m x 2m x 1m)
This sculpture aims to unravel greed and the desire for dominance being inherently rooted in primal instinct. It questions how deeply these intrinsic animal instincts dominate the social order and if separated from all the spin, how far in cultural and political terms have we progressed from our primitive origins.
This story echoes unchanged throughout history; the three figures show the clawing to success, the determination to stay on top, and the fall from grace. Someone is always poised to take control in the circle of power.
